Ron Sheckler
Chairman and Founder
Ron is the creative force and the key
manager who created OSS, growing the
company from an in-the-garage concept to
its current state. He has both a
technical background as a computer
systems designer and engineer, as well
as the experience and education to give
him the business acumen to provide
strategic guidance to the company. Ron
was also the Founder and CEO of The
Computer Wizard, Inc., a high level
network control center systems analysis
and design company.
Ron is also Founder
of Amalgamated Video International (AVI)
and Digital Video Products (DVP), the
research and development suppliers to
OSS.
He was a
professional engineer with two divisions
of the Department of Defense, Management
Engineering and Methods & Standards
Office. A Project Manager at Wells
Fargo Bank, where he successfully
designed and implemented the Network
Control Center (NCC) for Wells Fargo
Bank after its merger with First
Interstate Bank.
He has served as a
consultant to private industry,
assisting executive management in
process and work flow improvement and in
setting manpower and labor standards
Ron earned an MBA
from National University and BS Degrees
in Computer Science from Prince Georges
College and Chapmen University.
John
Thomas Flynn
President and Chief Executive Officer
As President and
CEO, John is responsible for overseeing
administration, operations, marketing
and strategic planning at OSS. He
brings to the company his executive
leadership, domestic and international
market knowledge and experience, and
established personal relationships with
key Federal, State and Local agency
contacts that will allow the company to
develop and grow into a market
leadership position.
John has been a
highly successful senior executive in
both the public and private sectors.
For more than a decade, he has been at
the center of the renaissance to upgrade
the public sector’s management and
utilization of its information
technology assets. John has served as
the first Chief Information Officer
(CIO) for both the Commonwealth of
Massachusetts and the State of
California.
Prior to his state
service, he served in White
House-appointed positions in two
Presidential Administrations (Ronald
Reagan and George H.W. Bush). He serves
on the Advisory Boards of the U.S.
Government Accountability Office (GAO)
and California State University
Sacramento’s College of Engineering and
Computer Science.
In addition to his
public service, he has nearly two
decades of private sector experience in
systems integration and information
technology marketing fields. He has a
bachelor’s degree in economics from
Boston College; studied economics and
international relations at the
University of Vienna, Austria and has an
MBA from The American University in
Washington, DC.
Jeremiah Sheckler
Chief Technology
Officer
As CTO, Jeremiah brings 5 years
experience in audio, video, multimedia
and other technologies. He is Founder
of Bullfrog Computing, a computer
support, training, web development
organization. Former AVI design and
developer of web casting products.
Pursuing BS at CSU Sacramento College of
Engineering and Computer Science.
